3AHITN 2025/26
Right after the Easter break, on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, 3AHITN and their form teacher E. Schaludek-Paletschek visited the Vienna University Library for an inspiring workshop on artificial intelligence, which was split into three parts.
The first part introduced the students to the world of AI — from its beginnings to its current role in science, research, business and industry. The students gained valuable insights into how artificial intelligence has developed and how it is already shaping many areas of our lives.
Part two was interactive; after the theoretical input, the students tested their newly acquired knowledge in a Kahoot quiz, which added a motivating, competitive element to the afternoon.
Part three was probably the most challenging and creative part of the workshop. The students had to develop and pitch their own AI ideas. Their presentations were innovative, original and highly creative. They clearly showed that the students had understood one of the day’s key messages: even in a world shaped by artificial intelligence, humans must always remain in the loop. ©SCPA
