Lessons Beyond the Classroom: 4AHITN Explores Malta

2024/25

From April 6 – 11, class 4AHITN took learning beyond the four walls of the classroom and across the island of Malta. Together with their teachers, Elisabeth Schaludek-Paletschek and Vicky Jaetke, the class took part in a week packed with language learning, cultural insights, and shared experiences.

Mornings were spent at Inlingua language school, where an inspiring teacher from the City of Oxford helped sharpen everyone’s speaking skills in the interactive lessons.

In the afternoons, the group set out to discover Malta – visiting ancient towns, exploring coastal landscapes, and getting a feel for the island’s unique character.

But the trip wasn’t just about English. It was about demonstrating responsibility and reliability, working as a team, connecting with the local people, and stepping out of your comfort zone.

The students visited new places, developed new skills, and made lasting memories – their trip to Malta was an enriching experience.
