On 22 December 2021, girls studying information communication technology and boys from the debating club participated in a workshop on UNESCO’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals led by freelance journalist Tania Napravnik (Radio, Print & Online).

After a general introduction and discussion about what we can do to improve the world, the students talked about the issues of discrimination and violence against women and girls. The role of females in economic, political and public life was an important theme in the exchange with the expert. The pupils also addressed topics such as the rights of people with physical impairments.

UNESCO featured Schulzentrum Ungargasse in an article for the UNESCO website published on December 3, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The article presents projects at our school, outlines some of the challenges that we face as an inclusive school and highlights how the school has developed over the years.
